My 5c worth: I have never seen the point of adding extra connectors and connections (spades, bananas) - connectors are a convenience yes, but how often do you really swop speaker cables? i like my high purity crystal aligned ohno cast 99,9999% pure copper wire to have as direct as possible connection to my amplifier/speaker thus i wire directly to the post so..... when buying binding posts check the cable hole diameter. my speaker cables are about 3mm wide and many binding posts i have tried have only <3mm holes.

99.9% of all posts are made of brass (copper is too soft to be used) some however are made of tellerium copper whereby other materials are added to the copper to make it hard enough RS does indeed have one http://za.rs-online.com/web/p/binding-posts/8884654/ but.... the cable entry hole is only 2.43mm.

These from Madisound aren't bad pricewise but you do still have to pay duty/freight. https://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/propeller-post-binding-posts/propeller-post-16mm-with-tool-set-of-4/
