I'm uncomfortable putting numbers in the open, I get far too many "but you said the price was" messages as it is.

If you'd like a quote send me a PM and I'll be happy to do one for you.

Understood, but showing numbers would allow potential users of your service to know where they can save.
ie. like the shipping.

Schiit only offers USPS and Fexex up to $174. I understand you reckon you can save on shipping?
How much?

Please PM if not posting response.

I can do from pretty much anywhere except South America, Russia and Australia, and anywhere there's a civil war going on or something.

I can help with all those "online traders" you mentioned. Technically this is advertising so I won't mention names myself ;)

VAT is applicable in country of origin as it's delivered to a local address.

Thanks! I understand warranty-related issues will be for my account, but what happens if the item is damaged (or lost) in transit?

Ok using Schiit's cheapest option for the Freya is $120(R1620) my courier will be R1011

Please confirm exact exchange rate used in the above calculation.  R 13.50?

Also be aware that with my example of the Freya, one can pay Schiit by either credit card or Paypal (3% levy).
Paypal will have the benefit of PayPal buyer protection and thus be preferred.

Can you allow for PayPal, not to pay but the protection? (obviously for a fee)

Perhaps rather quote a variable figure(min-max) to allow for +-5% variance?

All deliveries are 100% guaranteed against loss/damage. Full refund or re-order, whichever you prefer.

I just used 13.5. It's certainly not an exact amount or indicative in any way of current or future pricing. Just an extremely wide ranging ballpark as an example.

Please don't add R1011 to the price of a Freya and take that as the price ;)

Protection against what?

I have PayPal as a payment option, but the 3% applies and the double forex conversions take a toll, PayPal doesn't support the rand. It's really for people who have PayPal funds and want to use those.

Protection against what?

Like EBAY protection...

The seller only gets paid if you are happy and you have a certain time period to put in a claim. The claim gets checked by PayPal on a case by case basis.

If you are unhappy with the product and want to return it.
Got it but it is not as described.
Never got it, lol

Ah I see, doesn't really apply to my service:

"If you are unhappy with the product and want to return it." The customer supplies the links and chooses the products, if a link is not provided I ALWAYS link in the customer to what I'm ordering if I'm unsure about it. I can't be held responsible if the customer chooses the wrong thing. If it is wrong I will organise return shipping but it will be at customers cost.

"Got it but it is not as described." In this case I will naturally contact the vendor and get a replacement sent at their cost.

"Never got it." All orders are insured, I will refund or replace any lost or damaged goods in transit.

Hope that clears things up!

In the example of the Freya with $120 shipping and R 1011 courier. What is the expected order/transit/delivery time?

Delivery is in under 3 weeks for standard and 2 weeks for express. But again that R1011 is a ballpark figure and only part of the total, it is NOT a quote. PM me for a full quote on the Freya.

Via "express" shipping only, not via "standard"
