He has totally become one of 'the gang' now.  And sleeps in a furry 'basket' in my bedroom at night.

Now that's a lovely gang Steerpike.

Clicked!

Bikers in Kimberley raised R13000 yesterday for SPCA.

With a bakkie load of food as well.

Gotta say this, thanks bikers, is there a way whereby bikers elsewhere could be challenged to do the same, it's great for the animals and also great for bikers to stand together!

Well done indeed! the Barking Mad site barely receives half the clicks they should normally get at this time of the year.

A few days ago, I saw some posts on hellopeter.com about beating a husky? to death. Allegedly some place called Nanda in White River. I googled the place but found nothing.

It appears the dog was far from blameless: it ripped the guts out of one of the neighbours' pet goats, on their property - and not for the first time either:

Huskeys or dogs in general if you look at the animal world most predators wont bite their prey on the bum?
They go for the neck, I wonder if this was indeed done by the huskey.
If so yes take out the 9mm and shoot the dog.
But to beat it to death with sticks and pipes until it drowns in its own blood is flipping insane.
And i will beat the **** out of the people that treats an animal like that.

Also the article claims its pet goats but later they slaughtered and ate them.

All of you here have kids or know kids, tell me how that will go down.
