I used to support the SPCA until I found out that they euthanize dogs when they are not adopted. I will now support dog town  :)

Euthanising animals is sad, I don't condone it but can (grudgingly) understand they simply do not have the necessary space for the animals. It is always a heart-breaking experience walking through the kennels and viewing the pooches, one simply wants to adopt all of them.

The reality of a no kill shelter below in the article. Its easy to criticize and punish (by withholding funding) the SPCA for euthanizing animals that end up with them. Maybe look at why the animals end up there and criticize and punish the people who are responsible for the problem in the first place.

One big plus for the domestic cats/dogs that have good humans is the fact that they are home all day.

Not so much for the one's that don't. And are now possibly forgotten.
