BACKGROUND
I have an Intel Atom HP netbook which I am trying to setup to run Squeezelite as local player on LMS connected to my NuPrime IDA 8.
The netbook is faily highly specced as I understand but thats not saying a lot.
It has 2GB of RAM.
My first step was to overwrite the stock windows 7 with Debian linux & lxde desktop to speed up the whole machine.
Ive come a long way with this process and Ive managed to get LMS installed and ticked the local player addin feature.
Ive copied my flac library to the local drive and pointed the lms system to the right place.
The squeezelite player appears to handshake correctly with the ida 8. A number of ida8 labelled audio output devices appear under output device. Also when I enable debugging I get a pop from the speakers so I have a good inkling the two devices talk to one another fine.
