american songwriter top 50 albums
« on: December 09, 2016, 10:11:25 PM »

busy working my way through this list:

https://americansongwriter.com/2016/12/top-50-albums-2016/5/?mid=2210

the only ones which i have heard so far are:
amanda shires - my piece of land (thanks for the heads up cad)
case  / lang / veirs
margo price - midwest farmers daughter

& all 3 of them are really very good / great albums.
listening to sturgill simpson at the moment. also really good.

how on earth can anyone say that there is no good music? there is just so, so much it's pretty impossible to keep up.   :Whoohoo: :Whoohoo:

Think it's time to pop on over so I can further corrupt you :whistler:
Audiophile: There is almost no other group that prides themselves more on wasting good money on utterly worthless ****, and then trying to furiously blow smoke up their own ass to justify it.

Free your mind...and your ass will follow.

Some good stuff on there, I like to check all the end of year lists for things I may have missed.  So far, I know I need to listen to the Neko Case/KD Lang/Laura Viers and a bit of the Comet is Coming.  Another Lambchop album? Why not? I've only got about ten and personally 'How I Quit Smoking' is still the best.
