As part of my foray into digital, i am trialling Tidal. I am quite impressed with it - the quality certainly seems to my tin ear to be as good as CDs (having listened to the same music from both sources Edit: and mp3). I am also very happy with the rock and  jazz selection - I have found everything that I'm looking for. However, the classical (and modern etc) selection isn't brilliant. Firstly, it's mostly not the top conductors/orchestras (which is fine  i suppose), but secondly  the collections for lesser known composers eg Bartok are spotty (fy  ;D).

Can anyone comment on how other services compare? At $10 a month i'll probably stay with it anyway, but I'd still like to be better informed.

Note: i did try to find a thread talking about this but either there hasn't been one (unlikely) or my search fu was not strong (more likely)
