DIY Picture Gallery
« on: November 02, 2016, 12:14:14 PM »
This is a place where you can post pictures of your DIY audio projects. (Amps, speakers, stands, crossover networks, as long as it's audio related) Preferably finished or close to finished projects. If it is a restoration project, before and after pictures are most welcome.

Guys, this is a pictorial thread, so please no in depth discussions of the project.
Take those to PM or start a new thread. We just want to look at pictures here.

My very first DIY was a restoration of a pair of Cambridge R50 clones.

Second DIY project was a pair of Kirishima back loaded horns, with a pair of Fostex FE206EN drivers.

Couldn't find a floating shelf as I wanted for my second HT, so decided to make one myself.

Components all cut, just propped up together to check before assembling

Assembling: (note it is two boxes - a smaller within a larger)

Screwed & glued

Done - rear view so you can see where mounting brackets go in

Installing

Done!

I meant to post this a while ago but didn't get round to it - thanks for the prompt Curly!

My next idea is to make some horns - much like yours up there Curly

Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship on display. Thank you for the treat.

PS. Wouldn't it be just as awesome to read some new owners appraise the looks and performance of their new gear?
