I have fiber , 100meg , 400 gig cap.. im getting DL speeds of 75 meg +
Problem is that I have a lot of devices attached to my tplink td-w8970 router , 300 mbit
There are at least 5-6 laptops , multiple portable devices , tv , dstv etc etc.
My daughter streams and DL's , as does her boyfriend , my wife is on facebook and you tube and an amongst all of this , im trying to stream flac files to my squeezebox , and especially when the boyfriend is here , it gets problematic with dropouts
I think my modem can't cope with the traffic.. even when there are dropouts , the dl speed of the fibre is still excellent
I think it might be the 300 m/sec that is being raped
Should I get a 600 or higher modem ?
