The 1st time I've not watched the boks! Googled the score shortly after the game. Didn't want to see them live or highlights.

Japan lost to Fiji, and Tonga beat Italy.
Allister has 3+ years to go as coach. I can't help but wonder why he was given such a long term contract from the start.
...mind you, I know why...

But who is next?
Whether he's to blame or not, it's probably for the best.

Could we see Allister Coetzee and Jacob Zuma go within a space of one week..? Celebrations would be in order, no doubt. WHY did we have to wait SO long?

Well, let's hold thumbs. It's not getting any easier. The previously minnow sides are becoming cheeky. See what happened to England last weekend. Under Eddie Jones!

^^ It's certainly better than having AC, possibly the worst since Harry Viljoen

What rugby has taught us so far is that the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Never a truer word spoken. We've hailed a number of coaches as the saviors of Springbok rugby. The fact of the matter is that few have delivered.

I'm not convinced that the coach with the top job is wrong for the job every time. Structurally, rugby in SA is not where it should be. We are not winning Super Rugby tournaments, so the Springbok coach has little hope of performing against the same players that dealt us a drubbing in the Super Rugby games.

Of the countries that we are loosing against, only NZ takes rugby union seriously. We are doing much better in cricket and places like England, India, Australia and New Zealand are all very serious about cricket. This just tells me there's nothing wrong with the inherent ability of our players, but rather there 's a problem somewhere in the structures of the game.
It's only hifi people....
