Crystal resin wood work

Apologies all if this is in the incorrect section. Couldn't really find the appropriate section. Interested if anyone has experience with using crystal resin for this purpose. Not sure where to get this resin but I have a table that I want to try it out on..

Friend who manufactures beach buggies has used this from time to time. Not the bright blue as in your pics, but a brown or transparent finish. His only critisism was that sanding was a little tricky on account of the softness of the hardened resin. You really have to be very gentle with an orbital sander not to overheat the product and cause a tear. He said it was softer than pine timber
His wife, who is an artist, uses a brush-on product which you can buy here
