i came home today to find my roku was dead.
suspecting the power supply, i decided to take a closer look to see if i could find a similar one to test the roku with.
to my surprise - i found the power adapter is marked as 120 volts!!!
i've been using it for quite a long time now with no issues, using an adapter to fit into a 2 pin 5 amp socket..
i have found another supply, & everything seems to be ok - no smoke yet.
be warned - if your power supply has those 2 funny flat pins on it, you should probably take a closer look before finding an adapter to fit & just plugging it in..
