Clearaudio Aurum stylus replacement
« on: June 17, 2016, 09:27:34 PM »
Today I had the opportunity to replace a Clearaudio Aurum cartridge stylus. The stylus used is a new AT100E. Client is happy.

Interesting.  Done AT95 on a concept.  Thought AT100 is a slightly different clip. Must have another look.
Mine didn't need tape?

Years of experience, patience and steady hands. Clip is secured with epoxy and the tape keeps it perfectly in place whilst setting. Adjusted for optimal magnetic gap alignment.

Had another look.  Yes will need a bit more whittling to fit in the gap and as you say needs another way to secure.

Nice.
