It's intervention time....
« on: June 06, 2016, 10:01:24 AM »
Ladies and gentleman...

PLEASE, for the love of all that's holy, stop posting phone numbers and email addresses in the open. They are a neon flashing sign for web crawlers and spammers.

Mods, please be on the lookout for this and delete anything if posted ASAP.

It's especially heinous if you're posting someone else's details online.
Please PM me for anything you need imported. See here.

Thank you for being concerned. But they'll get your details one way or another. I am not pestered by spam at all. More by spam from the banks I am a client of.

The you are more than welcome to post your deets, however people often post "Contact WhatHisFace on 012 345 6789 or heyspammers@contactme.co.za" and give out details like that, that should be kept to PM.

There are several free utils advertised on the Dark Web that promise to extract user info from SMC forum software.  Have not tried any of them, but one from the same website can turn on an Android mobile phone's camera and microphone remotely, I have seen it working

But as you say, don't make it that easy
