HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc encryption cracked

In case you were worried about using your legally purchased high-def material in any way you saw fit, some clever guy has managed to circumvent both new formats' copy protection schemes and released a backup utility. Very cool! Pity about all the overhead introduced in Vista (digital signatures on device drivers) to prevent hardware-based circumvention when the encryption is so weak you can just crack the data.
