Pathos Acoustics
« on: January 10, 2016, 05:37:38 PM »
This is the product that launched Pathos. The review by AVSA captures the qualities of the TT perfectly. In a world of commodities and new fads it is refreshing to find a real classic who can stand the test of time and still be highly competitive.

aah my second favourite amp of all time - industrial design to lust after and a sound to die for - not perfect but the whole is so good (properly matched to the correct speakers) that you end up forgetting all the audiophoolness and just listen to music.

i could not part with the amp and held onto it for years, despite having other amps in the vain hope that it would reside in a second system - but reality was that that was not exactly gonna happen

finally caved in and sold to Jessejon last year to fund the Blackbird acquisition - would be interesting to hear his views

a magic amp

The newer styled Pathos Classic Remix. Pathos  has an ability to make their products pieces of industrial design statements.

More news from Vicenza, Pathos is about to launch 3 new exciting products to their range to  keep to the beat of new developments, but not moving away from their core value proposition of musicality first and foremost. We should have some of these new products in Q1 of 2016 in SA. Prices will be attractive as always :)

Something from the archive, a historical review of the Twin Towers soon after it was  launched and before it was renamed after 9/11. Note the comment at the end of Dan Sweeney " all I know is that thing sounds lovely, and that it represents a formidable challenge to all tube single-ended triodes designs"

a Stunning family picture of Inpol products from Pathos at Munich; TT , Inpol2 and Inpol Heritage.  Can't help but associate it with a few other iconic brands from Italy. (Thinking of a few red Ferrari's parked in a row :)  )

Willem, it is a pleasure and like you said: "a System For life" The TT and La Scala are both exceptional products and just the antidote for Audiophile Nervosa. Slowly but surely the puzzle falls into place.  ;) I hope you don't mind that I share these photographs.
