Any new products for 2016 ?

Hi Jozua! Forgive the delay in answering, just had to go to the mountains for a few days to clear my head. Signal not so good around here, back just after Jan 2nd.

And you need what from this workshop? Do tell and I make...

Actually been sucking on the old thumb some and yes, there is a "new" Genesis 21st Anniversary which has now been running with two customers already, with a 3rd almost done. These three are actually just modifications to the standard units, with the "real" release only planned for around March 2016. Upgrade includes reduction in valve count, better application of the balanced volume control, reduction in noise etc...

Coinciding with this, a brand new integrated loosely based on a Gen Pre and Black Widow power @ 300/channel at 8 ohm with true doubling to 600 into 4 ohm. Many guys have space constraints and prefer a one box solution. Requests have been made.

There might be one more, but going to be very busy next year so shall see about that.

I second that  :notworthy:
A nice valve hybrid pre\headphone amplifier could be very very interesting !!!!

Ahem, indeed. And one of those guys is waiting patiently, as always ;D

I have good reason to believe that this will be a true " beast from the underworld ".

How would this go down, your input please.

I am thinking (finally) about doing a newer version of the Exclamé with a built in MC/MM valve/SS hybrid phono stage as well. It MIGHT be possibly to fit a module to the existing Ex's out there too. First some calcs and measurements though, also a thing about fitting it physically  :nutter:

Watch this space for info as the plot thickens. Could be a couple of months though as there is no gap on the horizon yet.

And OF COURSE it is going to be more expensive  :whistler: :whistler:

That would probably put the Exclame as the best all-rounder integrated out there.

Would be an interesting option as dumping the cost of box connectors powersupply etc in to an integrated box will allow a sexy circuit for a relatively modest cost.  Ie phono exclame less cost of exclame will be a small cost for the possible phono performance of bought as a separate unit.

Heard the Exclaim for the first time this morning on speakers that I've listened to on various amps. The Paradigms have never sounded so good before!

Listening to the amp at its new home confirmed it again. Made me realise that even buying a new Exclaim, should it be possible again, would be good value for money and a worthwhile audio investment for me to save for. The phono stage option makes it even more tempting, less boxes and more space.

The only thing I'm wondering about is whether it would be possible to include a balanced output option on the Exclaim as well? Listening to it I could not help to think that an amp sounding this good should have balanced outputs as well. That is my only  :2c: to an otherwise near perfect integrated amp.

Thats where the Predator comes in, less the phono.
I would go as far as to say that an Exclame with only a MM is the way to get good amplification, good build quality and higher than average entry into simple analogue.

The moment you want to go to higher amplification, Predator with it's balanced inputs. From here on you get the Whisper (big and bold on my shopping list) for your analogue.
