Slow cooker on low and leave it.

That's it!

After 1 hour

I mixed the dry sugar with the syrupy sugar

Turned after 4 hours

Turned again after 5 hours

Keep it in the slow cooker until the resistance (or what ever you want to call it) is the same throughout the whole joint when piercing with a carving fork
