FWIW,I have a (SA) friend who now lives in Canada,who recently acquired this,to help with his acoustically challenging room,and he cannot sing the praises of the device enough!
Apparantly fairly complex in it's application,but extremely versatile and affective!

Hi there,

He has a Scoutmaster tt,Jolida phono and cdp,AN amps and a pair of Duevel? spkrs (German omni- directional design) and also a pair of Bastanis O/B spkrs,with 2x REL T5i subs.
He needs to have the system in a loft,semi o/p and the shape of the room and ceiling apparently doesn't make for good acoustics. He struggled a lot to get decent/satisfactory sound (that's why he bought a 2nd set of spkrs),but now that he has the DEQX,things are coming along nicely,especially in the bass area. It's taking some time to discover and master all the device can do,keeps him busy,and excited!

Yeah man,unfortunately I haven't had the moola to visit Canada!  . Despite the cold,they are very happy there.
Yes,I'm sure his sound will be very good once the DEQX has been fully implemented,or they move to a house with a room more acoustics friendly!

Have to say,he reaally enjoys our music sessions when he visits,my set-up being as per avatar,with ET LFT8b/REL speakers!

Hope to win the Lotto one day to visit them though...

Don't know whom Johan uses to get on top of it,prolly a local distributor,who wld have bn well versed. If u want,I can pm/mail u his email ady..?
Really nice dude,he'd be more than willing to share his experiences with the DEQX.. 

btw,I saw u commented on VA's thread on the new BW Pre and Exclame. Incidentally,I bt my first Pred from Johan,back in 2005. Like I said,he loves listening to my set-up with a (Newer) Pred as heart...
