Interior light always blowing

Hi guys
Would anyone know what is the most likely cause for one of my interior lights constantly blowing. Its a standard light fitting that takes two globes and the same globe pretty much lasts a week max and then flickers until it blows.
I think I mentioned this before but I also pick up some sort of erratic noises through my HT sub when my tumble drier is on- not sure if it's related.....
Any ideas?
