Whoever originally coined the word 'Lisp' and put an 'S' in it's spelling, is a Douchebag !!

We had a family outing to the cinema on Sunday and I was amazed to see just how many rehashes/sequels are in cue to be released. Ghostbusters, Independence Day, another Ice Age (yawn), another Ninja Turtles (yawn) and another instalment from the Bourne franchise with Matt Damon (yippee). And we were there to watch Finding Dory with the kids. Considering the return of the Star Wars franchise and the countless super hero comic book movies, I could not help wondering what has happened to original idea's for movies...

Have to say, I'm looking forward to seeing Independence Day: Resurgence in IMAX.

^ On a massive scale again and it does bring back good memories, which I presume is part of the reason they continue to do sequels. I particularly liked the very last sentence "they like to get (go for?) the landmarks"...lol.

Looking forward to these, although some have a great opportunity to be either EPIC or an EPIC-FAIL

^^^The Dark Tower?

seven books (??) for an ending that was obvious from book one.
but it was an interesting trip & not about the destination.

-From what I read this movie continues from after the 7th book. So, I'm not to happy about that, but that is just my humble opinion. I think a 3-4 movie series based on the books like Lord of the Rings would have made more sense. But, what do I know, I'm not the Director or writer. It, might just turn out good!

Trailer for the new Blade Runner looks enticing, but for now I hope to get to a cinema this week to watch Dunkirk.
