Yep,should be pretty special!! Always an ear-opener to enjoy and admire such great local talent.

Recently saw the Steve Newman Trio do a Tribute to Tananas at Die Boer in Durbanville. It's a great live venue with excellent acoustics,and the owner is a qualified sound engineer and musician,he frequently guests with other artists.

The Tananas show was simply fanfknTASTIC!!   :2thumbs:

Really. Surprised.  Event not marketed very hard but surprised at low interest.  Ticket prices are seriously low and his JHB appearances not frequent now he lives in Cape Town.

Huge fan of Tony and have actually never seen him live.
Unfortunately I am on standby this week and pretty much house bound.  :(

I think it's actually a private small holding with stables   Not a typical commercial venue.

Also saw Tony live at Die Boer,and it was hugely entertaining.
