I have started a new hobby of collecting vintage amplifiers. Currently enjoying them with earphones because I have realized I can't get proper speakers to use them on. All vintage speakers I have looked at were played to death or dodgy. So my question to fellow vintage gear guys.
What speakers can I use. Currently on my 1993 Marantz I have a set of unknown DIY speakers I build many years ago that are 200w and unfortunately not a very efficient speaker setup. They are very power hungry. Can I use them or must it be low watt high efficient speakers.
