I saw a set advertised here a while back - I remember thinking the drivers was good so the speaker will probably sound great. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to hear any of your creations.

Do you have a workshop/factory somewhere that makes them and how do you normally sell? I suppose if you only have 15 pairs built, then you are building to order. Are you looking to increase that number?

I don't see anything when I google for Air speakers, is the Tumblr site your main/only site?

Hi Atjan

Thanks for your interest. I have done short runs of speakers, 2 models Air 1 and Air2 and then I have done bigger models (Forte's)on order. At the moment as I mentioned to Rodney I am busy tooling up for a new range, with new cabinet designs build around advanced composite materials. So I have only one or two prototypes available to listen to at my home. I can arrange audition of Fortes if there is serious interest.

I outsource all production to various specialist like many other speaker companies do. The cabinet construction was done with Cnc machining in professional workshops, veneering done also by an specialist in the field. The same with crossover construction and assembly. I do the design(conceptual and product), prototyping, voicing, final measurement and marketing.

Keep in mind that i am also the importer of Pathos Acoustics, Aedle and Rosso Fiorentino and was for more than 10 years also distributing Primare. I have been importing and selling boutique audio equipment for more than 20 years, and was involve with ProAc, EAR Meridian and Audio Analogue and has working relationships with other importers and distributors. Airmusic.co.za is our official web and  will soon be updated to reflect the Rosso Fiorentino brands as well. (I am expecting the first units in this week.) Airmusic's products are reviewed regularly by AVSA, and last year we had a front page feature with the launch of the Aedle VK-1s. Soon, probably in 2016 the 1st Rosso Fiorentino model will be reviewed.

The Air loudspeakers is scoped as project withing the fold of  Airmusic and will be that for the foreseeable future until it can fly independently as a brand.

I'd love to hear a set of your speakers, unfortunately I'm not in the market straight away.
Perhaps you would be interested in making a pair available when we have another forum get together? Its quite a nice opportunity to get things out there that would otherwise be completely obscure.

If I may offer some input on the Airmusic site. A couple of pictures of your various speakers (with specs) will be most welcome. Also, on my phone I got white text on a white/light background, which means I skipped straight past the write-up. Nice look to the site otherwise though.

Hi Atjan
thanks for the browsing and constructive comments on our web. Our web designer just had a baby, or should I say his wife did and he says he is working on it amongst the hectic work schedule and the fact that his life at home is now as hectic. He is on this forum so I hope he reads this :)

I was tempted to bring a prototype of a small 2-way monitor called Air.5 (10 liters vented design) to the standmount fest on the 10th but could not fit it in my schedule. Maybe next time. Maybe you could come and visit me some time and if we plan it well I am sure I could also let you listen to the Forte's

Thanks Stu
Your monitors are also getting rave reviews and the piano black finish is really something. Good to see that years of time and effort comes to fruition.
We must chat, soon

Wow ! Look at the construction on these babies - this ain't no foolin' around !

I know this is an old thread , but I only saw it now and I think it deserves a bump .

Thanks, Fredeb, the effort was worth it. This set was sold nearly 10 years after they were completed at close to 90% of what the original buyer paid for them. The new owner and his wife are both fanatical about them.
