I own a old Sansui set consisting of the following:
Sansui 210s receiver
Sansui Sp50 speakers
Sansui Sr-2020BC tt
All still works good, the tt needs new mounts for the motor (hummmmm) and I fitted a ortofon 305 cartridge.
I also have a Sony str 495 receiver with warfdale speakers and jamo sub.
The question is is it worthwile getting a phono stage and moving the tt to the Sony?
