Yes, it is an early spring in the Western Cape but we are promised rain on Monday and Tuesday again.  Don't count your chickens too early

Gorgeous day in Great Brak so far. Got some friends coming around for hamburgers and wine and "old" music this evening.

I'm surprised how each and very town along the coast has it's own weather. It could be raining in the Strand while the sun is shining in the Waterfront, CPT.

It's a nice day for ramping up the volume a bit and having a braai....
Recapping of vintage equipment isn't restoration. By definition, restoration means returning to it's original condition.

Oh, what difficult hobby this is. When you hear something new you'll find yourself swapping out or upgrading kit.

I am so happy for the rain as it is painful not being able to use the hosepipe and just watching the garden die...

Don't you have a borehole?  I fitted a dual one some 25 years ago.  I do notice that, 15 mins after turning on the pump, the output reduces to about 1/3.  Probably too many boreholes sucking water from the same location.  My pipes are 8 and 12 metres deep respectively.

Certainly better than using a watering-can.  Amazing how heavy a 5 litre can of water is after 15 mins carrying about
