The op should be able to lock...
If anyone have something to add they can start their own thread ?

Exactly why users can't be allowed to lock threads, there'll be new threads all the time with some guy just trying to make his point known after an op says his thing in reply to a comment and then promptly locks the thread for no other reason but to stifle the debate.

No one owns a thread, you are free to start a new thread just as others are free to have their say therein. If someone starts going off topic or posting against forums rules report the posts.

It is not my opinion, it is a forum rule and if it wasn't before then clearly it is now.
