Ladies and gentlemen, in support of the local industry for hifi manufacturers, can we promote our industry by among other things ;
1) Identifying and disclosing details of current and past audio manufacturers and what they manufacture/d (blue angel, valve audio, sonor audio,etc)
2) Reviewing a sound system consiting entirely of a local audio equipment in AVSA.
Two years ago, i attended a hifi show at Indaba Hotel in Johannesburg and i was immensibly impressed by a certain speaker manufacturer who is based in Centurion. In my entire life ( i am approaching 60 years) i have never heard of a more transparent speaker. The speaker was a ribbon design and the notes were real life-like. Even if i could not afford to buy this set (R more than R200K a pair), i enjoyed the sound and i wished i could have placed my order if i could afford this. Ampdog and Ludo, please tell us about your creations.
