Thinking of updating my antivirus on my home PC's.
Any ideas on good/reasonal packages available?

For Vensters I have used Kaspersky Internet Security for many years with good results.
You should find some good pricing on the 2015 which lasts a year from time of activation and the 3 user bundle usually also now includes 1 mobile device or tablet.
Bit Defender is also pretty good

Kaspersky is good and cost effective... My personal choice is MS Security Essentials (Free) or commercial NOD32 from ESet

AVG and Avast no good? I have had my PC saved endless times thanks to Avast. Also S&D and Malwarebuyes keeps the nasties at bay

I always run MalwareBytes still for a secondary check
