I am told that VPN IP was 176.67.87.16. I cannot be sure since that was at a friend's house the other evening.
IP Lookup reports that IP as ZA range so I don't know what to think.

Isn't there a forum log showing attempted logons that ended up in a ban?

I just suspect that the Forum software has become self-aware and is slowly going to ban Vinyl users 1 by 1. Watch out F_D, you could be next

Old technology never dies.

New technology simply confuses itself!  ;)

^^ Adie, if you can read this, please clear out your browser cookies, try another browser.

All appears good from this side and your 41* IP is not banned. Are you perhaps making use of a VPN? This is where problems seem to arise.

Please let us know.

Just seen this. How could I have seen it if I was banned? :whistler:
Thanks Andre/Kent/BK and Matt. Cleared my Chrome cache and cookies and all was ok again, though I was broke and peckish.

I live on... (sorry for y'all)

Thanks F_D

Had been getting the banned error when trying to use safari on the iPhone. (iPad and PC were fine.)

Clearing out the cookies (Settings -> Safari -> Advanced -> Website Data) sorted out the issue.

FYI, I had been in the UK when it started happening.

Cheers,

While I was in Japan recently I was constantly getting "banned" messages. Using a variety of network types.
