How to remove a thread
« on: June 22, 2015, 06:10:48 PM »
Quick question. If I had to post an item for sale and then maybe had 2nd thoughts on it how do I remove it or what's the procedure to have it removed?
Please let me know as I haven't seen anything about this anywhere on the forum

You cannot.
You ask mods to lock

Yup, you have to ask a mod to lock it. A quick PM usually works

Try a Mod :)

But I guarantee that if you do not include the original url, the request will simply be ignored. Messages along the line of "Please move/delete/lock/ my last post" do not enjoy high priority unless the url is provided!

So "report to moderator" cannot be used for this? And if so, would the link/URL still be necessary then?

How do I know who the mods are. I'm using an app on my iPhone so it might be a little different from the web page

Thank you I will take u up on this if I need to. However I use the Tapatalk app most of the time on the forum so will check if I can grab the URL from here or not. Doubt it but if I can't I will get onto my mac and send from there

Cabling is such an interesting topic though...filled with all sorts of goodness like silver and copper and fueled by arguments and disputes and name calling. Lol gotta love that topic
