We all know about the obvious corruption like Nkandla etc but I just think that everyone is just going with the wave to make a quick buck. So my car went in for panel beating and so I went to pick up a courtesy car. Got there and the car is a Hyundai i10 which is a far cry to my 435i but anyway that's what my insurance pays for. We start doing paperwork and I get asked if I'm going to take windscreen insurance. I asked what for and how much and I was told that without one I'll have to pay for windscreen replacement should the car come back with a crack or chip. I was told the insurance will cost me R25 a day when you work that out its R750 in 30 days which is almost diouble what you will pay to insure this little schit of a car. I don't understand how big companies like avis gets away with such practices.
