The inaccurate colours on my dad's plasma are starting to bug me so I'd like to go in and fix them via the service menu. I'd also like to see if there are any other tweaks I can make or features I can unlock.
I'm not worried about messing in the service menu itself as I've heard the newer service menus are much easier to use than the old CRT ones. Seeing as how it's not my TV though, I'm worried that if anything happens to the set down the line and it needs to be sent in, that Samsung might void the warranty if they notice.
Would it be an issue? I know when I asked Sony about it they weren't even aware such a thing existed.
