So I hastily set it up in December, together with a motorised screen, and watched my first DVD (District 9) on it. Great Stuff!
The next day the Optoma was toast, suspected lightning damage although I was not home at the time the storm struck. The agents had closed for the festive season and it was back to the trusty old Philips RPTV for the remainder of the holidays. But this week I handed the projector to our local agents (Sound Designz) in Klerksdorp on Monday. On Thursday Wium telephoned me to come collect the repaired projector, which was fitted with a new motherboard.
How's that for outstanding service?? ;D ;D
