I was using Opera using VPN, it turned the site up in Swedish ;)

Wasn't aware that I could 'pick country', will try again, thanks!

I've set the VPN for America, I have cleared all cookies, yet I still land on the Swedish page?

Same here. Some fancy VPN/Proxy blocking in place I suspect. Strangely, on un-VPNed Firefox I land on history.com no problem but can't watch because of add-blocker that I can't seem to disable for this website. Oh well. Downloads will work.

I did disable the adblocker on that site only, only to receive the message I posted above.

Changing the VPN country does not change the IP address evident in the box, it remains at 77..... something at all times, which I guess is Sweden.

Can recommend "Succession" on Dstv/showmax/HBO. First season was amazing. Corporate /Business-esque but less about the industry and more about the people in the family and different types of people one finds in a family. Watched the first season in a day.

@fdlsys

Fortitude has grown on me :D Really like how the story has developed. Almost finished season 1.
Finished impulse last night with the wife.... was enjoyable.. will do season 2.

And then of course counterpart that I'm following as soon as it's released.

My watching will slow down unfortuantely as I'll be going back to studies soon. All good though!

What's next on your horizon mike?

I'm re-watching How I Met Your Mother on Netflix.

First season was a bit mediocre, but definitely picked up.  Its nice easy watching, that the wife and I can do together.

She's not such a fan of Altered Carbon, Star Trek Discovery etc...  :nutter:

With big delay, I watched the "11.22.63" (JJ Abrahams / James Franco) and absolutely loved it. Pity it was only a one season mini-series.

Current set of TV shows is IMHO very weak. Hasn't been this bad in a long time.

"Deadly Class" is interesting, We'll see how it develops.

Current season of forcefully renewed "Last man standing" is a complete disgrace. Terrible writing, utterly pointless.

Fortunately, there's "Man with a plan" to pull the 20-30 min comedy genre out of the doldrums. Joey never disappoints.
On that note, if you missed "Episodes" (another Joey show), you can't be blamed because it went completely under the radar. Find it, watch it, it's one of the best ever.

"Project Blue book" so far a total disappointment.

"The Rookie" a straight forward police show - not bad at all.
"The Blacklist" is solid, "Blindspot" so-so.

Looking forward to:
Miracle Workers (next week)
Weird City (next week)
"Killing Eve" season2 - another one of the under the radar shows - BRILLIANT!
"The 100" season 6 in 3 months; so far it's been spotless.

the newly started third season isnt any less painful ....sadly what was a brilliant first season quickly degenerated into absolute rubbish eventually  and even the presence of Jaimie Alexander can't save it from being just absolute nonsense

Agreed. We can't find anything at the moment, almost given up on watching telly.

This looks promising

The 'Episodes' trailer led me to 2 others that may be worth a look, Barry and Killing Eve - any opinions on those?

Both Barry and Killing Eve are great - Barry being my favourite of the two.
