How to convert an SACD iso to other formats on a Mac

I don't know if this is common knowledge, I found this stuff buried so deep on the interwebs I thought I may as well put it all together here:

This converts them a file of your choice with the bit rate intact (If you select a lossless format).

First thing convert the SACD iso with this nifty little terminal and batch file app:

Instructions are included and it pretty much handles itself. Read the ** double-click to read extracting instructions **.txt file

You're going to end up with a set of DFF files, you can convert these to a format of your choice with XLD:

You're finished at this point, you'll probably want to run the files through MusicBrainz Picard to tag them:

If the original is a 5.1 or 6.1 channel, and you really want to add them to iTunes, you are going to struggle. iTunes will not accept them and you will need to down mix to stereo. The only programme that does this seamlessly for free is Media Human Audio Converter:
