Ok, I am out of my depth... I have an Opel Corsa utility which looses power (when I think it gets hot) but the temperature guage does not go over 1/4 of the range. Normally it sits at 1/2. Now I am under the impression that the thermostat has gone and normally take my cars in to GM for any service but I need to look at it myself as I have just ahd the water pump replaced by GM as they said there was signs of leakage. Never had to top up water ever.
So what will make the temp gauge never go higer than 1/4 now and loose power when hot and cooled down has power again.
