Just for fun, I decided to take some statistics on the average ZAR/USD rates from 20 years prior to 1994 and 20 years after 1994.
"Interesting stuff"... :winkwink:
1974: 0.87 ZAR = 1 USD
1984: 2.00 ZAR = 1 USD
1994: 3.55 ZAR = 1 USD
2004: 6.10 ZAR = 1 USD
2014: 11.00 ZAR = 1 USD (and still declining steadily)
Interesting that the value was still "OK" in '94, but then plummeted in the last 20 years! :nfi:
