And there’s more from where that came from: ask him for a top five or ten, you’ll be pleased. Andile

Unboxing a pair of Sonus Faber Olympica 3s. They are big and heavy! The contents are really high-end. Neat foam-filled boxes for all the accessories, and not one but two high quality booklets about the history of the company and the manufacturing of the speaker.

Great quality binding posts and spikes too.

Very nice.
You don't mention why you are unboxing these so I am assuming these are your new speakers? If so, what are they replacing and what equipment will they be used with?

Hi guys I have them set up I will post more pictures tomorrow.

If you want to know what is driving them you can see my previous post:

Unboxing a Marantz PM-KI Ruby limited edition preamp. I use it for stereo music listening. It also has a HT bypass function for surround sound use.

It looks, feels, and sounds glorious!

Here are the Olympica's set up. The walnut wood finish is immaculate, and so is the leatherwork. I actually did this a few weeks ago and the speakers have now run in. Powered by the Marantz Ruby they sound glorious. Detailed, smooth, good tight bass and a treble to swoon over.
