OK so here's the stuff that keeps me sane (mostly)...
Quick and dirty pic, apologies but you get the drift.

Headphones not included, I tidied up a bit.
Usually there are a few pairs next to, lying on and hanging off the desk.

Will consider moving them a little. :-)

They're on Carpet pads already. Makes a HUGE difference in clarity.

She's not much, but she's mine, and I love her.

Nice little setup.......just a concern the bookend on on the right looks like hes taking a P!ss on your amp, hope you have waterproofed that end  :dop:
Time to get back to when I enjoyed listening......no more upgrading, more of a headache than a pleasure

Thanks Katji, and thanks for your interest.

Left of monitor on top shelf is a Resonessence Concero DAC that I use as a DDC (digital to digital converter).
It is a wonderful thing, galvanically isolates USB from PC and outputs via coaxial SPDIF. Indispensable.

Underneath that is Audio-gd NFB11.32 DAC/Amp [L] and Kingrex HQ1 PSU and Headamp [R].
Beneath those [L-R] are Benchmark DAC1 USB, Stax SRM-252S driver unit and Little Dot MKII OTL headamp.

The speakers are RCF Ayra 5 active monitors, recently acquired and loving them.

Thanks Wolla!

Yes indeed! I've been vacillating over getting speakers for so long, as you know.
When these beauties presented themselves I couldn't resist.
They are sublime and I'm a happy camper (the fact that I basically stole them doesn't hurt...).

I see the rack is now full and the table maxed out  :giggle:

Yeah, which is great because now I definitely can't add anything additional!
And I don't really need to...(famous last words, I know.)

Awesome little setup. Sometimes its the simplest systems that provides the best rewards, not to mention; bang for buck.

Not my system but whilst in PE yesterday to meet with suppliers I visited old friends in more than way. System supplied probably 20 years ago and still loved and used daily. Not the last word in ideal setup but it sounds wonderful none the less.

Yowza my exact old speakers down to the finish. Puccini doesn't run very hot but is that ventilation enough?
