Nice!

Does IR go through glass?
Yes it does. It's a thin glass, slightly tinted. I use a Harmony hub (left of the center speaker's raiser/angler) which has no problem reaching all my components.

Bedroom project

Our bedroom project and my first attempt at woodwork. The cabinet was butchered from an unused bunk bed. Always thought I had 10 thumbs, but now the wife recons it is closer to eight...

Are your cables running behind the wall? With trunking on the other end?

Looks very neat and tidy!

I have a little theatre room at home which is a third garage that was not in use and I converted into a room. No WAF in there as it is not part of the house.
It was a bit of a mess as I used some of the stacked equipment boxes as a stand for the centre speaker whilst the AVR, power amp, Apple TV, BluRay player were all on the floor.
My wife was doing some laundry and wanted lots of help so I had to come up something to do as an excuse  :giggle: not to hang up washing.
I could only use what was available in my yard/garage so I came up with this:

With the subwoofer in place:

Looks a bit better than the stacked boxes and equipment all over the floor. Maybe I should stain the planks in a dark colour at some point.
