We lived in Oakfield Road Claremont. The door on the right is the garage and that's my mom in front of my room. My brother was to the left of me. It was there that I built my Coral 3-way speakers...they weighed a ton and sounded pretty good. 20mm chipboard with sapele veneer and heavy, soft honeycomb foam inside. When I bought the B&W DM11s I sold the Corals for R60,00 !!! The guy just snapped them up. Of course, today I can kick myself for letting them go. Then it was a Kenwood amp, then a NAD 3020. Most of the music was fed by the Rega 3 and an Aiwa cassette deck...followed by a Sony TC 186 SD deck. Aaaaaaaand...not forgetting the long wire which I strung up along the eaves and fed into a little Hitachi transistor radio to pull in LM Radio :)
