Just thought I pop in and say "Hi!". I have been cut off from the outside world nearly 1 month ago. Going through 'dire straights' at the moment so please bare with me.
This is what I have been keeping busy with to pass the time.
That ol' 6C33C amp project thing I have started with nearly a year ago... I decided to start refining the circuit. So far so good until the one small-signal tube decided to crap on me. Those are the 6H30Pi dual triodes. The one 6H30Pi started to arc from grid to plate inside.
Anyway... the sound is pretty amazing considering the tangle of wires.
Power output into 6.5 ohm dummy load is a steady 11.5 watts per channel. Total weight of current spaghetti mess: 23 kgs!
... so, thats it for now... working here on 'borrowed' internet access.
