Hi everyone
I have been moaning to my wife for about a month now that the bass reproduction on my Polk and Onkyo system just doesnt sound like it used to. Its all felt a little flat.
I havent changed a thing lately, all the settings are as they were and always have been and I just havent been able to put my finger on it....
Anyway, I stood over my Polk powered sub, put something dancey on and then switched the phase switch from 0 to 180 and unless my mind is playing tricks on me, my bass reproduction is back to where it once was ie punchy, tight and deep.
What I would like to know is why has the 'feel' come back after I changed the phase setting from where it always has been to a new setting?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Daniel
