Hey Bradley - I would love to see the pictures . You need to host them at an image hosting site , like www.postimg.cc , once you've uploaded there , click on the small image so it becomes larger , then right click on the image and select the option "Copy image adress" . This copies the image URL to your computers clipboard in the background (you can't see that it has happened) . Then go back to the forum topic and push the "reply" button , not "quick reply" . This takes you to the full forum editing interface . Then push the button that looks like a little "Mona Lisa" picture , this will make the "insert image" brackets appear in the text block with a flashing cursor in the middle . Press the "CTRL" key on your keyboard , hold it in and press the "v" key on your keyboard at the same time , this will copy the image URL from the clipboard to between the brackets . Now click behind the brackets and repeat procedure if necessary .

Beautiful. Loving the analog VU meters.
I have lost my interest in this hobby.

Very cool Jaco - one doesn't see many of those JVC amps around .

Got it for an absoulte bargain.
Just cleaned it up a bit and she was all good - sounding absolutely beautiful.  :2thumbs:
I think I will need to replace some caps at a later stage as there is some ground hum from the TT, which is not present on my AVR, but I can live with it for now.

Ancient Wharfedale Airedale loudspeakers from 1964 (I think)

They are huge!  (HxWxD: 100 x 68 x 35 cm)

This is me standing next to them (I'm 1.83m)...

And here they are in the living room...

I'll be getting proper amps in about a weeks time, then I'll play some more with positioning.
If you don't understand the difference between "their", " there", and "they're", then your an idiot.

OOOHH!WAAA!   :D  They look immaculate!  Position looks like where they're meant to be - although not the same small British lounge.

Got these beauties but found out afterwards the tweeters are blown.

But thanks to Brian they are alive again, he did am amazing job of putting in a new tweeter whilst still keeping the original look except for the purple color but I'm happy they not purple anymore :).he also made a new cross over and backboard with binding posts, added some bracing and put on grill plugs. I also got a detailed report on all the work done with measurements. Thanks again Brian you are amazing.

They sound lovely, beautiful midrange and a well balanced sound
