Finally got this all up and running and set up. I bought these from Tom quite a while ago, and my son had them for a while. Tip: don't mix 18-year-olds and vintage hifi. Anyway, after some time in storage I repaired and refurbished everything, and it is now doing duty in my office.

Recapping of vintage equipment isn't restoration. By definition, restoration means returning to it's original condition. New capacitors isn't vintage.

Nice to see your Sony TA1010 there. I remember buying one for my UCT digs in 1973. It was still going strong when I gave it away in about 2003.

I love it so much. The 6.3mm AUX on the front is very useful.
