My hi-res music collection took a major knock...it was killed in transit. Anyway, I ended up registering on Pandora and have since found a bunch of absolute gems. Currently this is my fav:

Joe Bonnamassa - Sloe Gin.

His guitar work on this track is simply sublime.

Bummer, that's a horrible thing to happen.

Memory tells me you also enjoy Beth Hart, add that with Joe Bonamassa & you have the makings of a Blues Rock fan!

If so give the Jeremiah Johnson Band a twirl. Was my find of 2016!

Tom Keifer - Solid Ground, and Mood elevator from his album: The way life goes

A good old fashioned Blues rocker, superb vocalist and gifted guitarist

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoNTLRsPAds

Uses a 30's Gibson Lap Steel guitar :notworthy: :notworthy:

He demos it here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buZ3tO0utqg   :faint: :faint:

Whoever originally coined the word 'Lisp' and put an 'S' in it's spelling, is a Douchebag !!

Gives me strong impressions of 80's rock, more than Blues rock.

Still, very nice.

Yes, that track has more of an 80s sound, the album however has various nuances, some toward the blues rock. Very enjoyable album

@Trompie
Yep, safe to say I'm a blues rock fan. I've also got a Gov't Mule station on Pandora as well based on a previous recommendation from you. :2thumbs:
Try Kenny Wayne Shepard - Blue on Black as well.

He's every good. Some outstanding lyrics & great guitar work.

What amazes me is how he never seems to age!

Not a track but the artist is great. This is her first studio album.  Her name: Agnes Obel

Behind the cupboard door... Narnia

Brand new on iTunes:

Quite nice...listen out for the catchy piano improvisation a la Abba's Chiquitita towards the latter part.
Lend you my ears..?

Heard Green Light and although good it isn't a patch on 'Tennis' or the brilliant 'Royals' which captured the NZ eighties pop lyrics and a great sound.   Waiting for the album
