best thing to use is putty
install putty on a laptop .  ssh  into your wandboard it will be sooooo much  easier to help you , i do believe you are getting an error thats causing your squeezelite not to run

after you have logged in (Evan can help you with username and password )
type systemctl status squeezelite

and tell us what error you get

When i open putty from the shortcut on my desktop, it immediately opens putty configuration, then it asks for a host name or IP address, what is the host name or where do i find the IP address?

Get a app called fing network scanner.
On your phone..
Run this app. It will give you the ip addresses of everything on your network.
You look for the one titled technexion

He's sorted for now.  The sdcard's not right and the IPs quoted are his pc and router.
