Help! , Idiots guide to getting the best sound out of my DAC please.

Ok, so I upgraded my DAC. It has USB, COAX, Optical and Balanced inputs.  What must I do to get the best audio out of this DAC?  I am running an Apple ecosystem but I don?t necessarily have to use it in my Audio setup.

What am I going to need to sit, select and relax on my couch and listen to excellent audio?
