Eventually bought a DVD Recorder :clap: - LG RH1999H and I am quite impressed with it. Very easy to set up and fairly intuitive to use.
What did surprise me was the DVD playback quality. It is much better than I would have expected from a recorder and actually seems better than my Cambridge Audio DVD79(although that could be considered a "budget" player)
Now all I need to do is to fill up the harddrive(250Gb) :077:
